Lucinda McKimm and Lauren Treweek are cousins (in law). They’re also (pretend) sisters and close friends, and since Loz became pregnant with her first baby in 2020, the conversation on how mothers make work, work has been nonstop. Founded in 2022 by Lu with a weekly interview-style podcast, Loz joined Ready or Not for the launch of the podcast’s less formal sister show – Witching Hour – in 2023.

While the pair have worked hard to expand conversations and share stories on how mothers make work, work, there was one thing missing: the resources and guides that they craved during pregnancy and postpartum. Expert advice, easy to follow checklists, and all of the things that the mothers who have come before them have learned along the way, available in the one guide to help mothers like them avoid Googling incessantly and pulling their hair out in the middle of the night.

So now, they bring you the Ready or Not Go To Guides: readable, beautiful, well-researched guides that tackle the sort of topics they wish they had access to, all in the name of supporting mothers in making work, work. Created in consultation with some of the best experts in their respective fields, and informed by over 60 interviews with working mothers, these are the guides that will stop you from relying solely on hindsight.

Made for mothers, by mothers.
